The Ghost Busters (1975): The One with the Monkey (review at AIPT)

Took a break from my Next Mutation reviews to instead review the 1975 Filmation Ghost Busters television series.  You can check my review out over at AIPT.

It was a terrible mistake.  I will happily go back to watching Next Mutation.

When I was a kid, my parents got me the Ghost Buggy as a present instead of the Ecto-1. It did look kind of neat, but it was so crappy that when my brother played with it for a few minutes, one of the wheels broke off. Also, I didn't even get Tracy as an action figure, but some of the other recurring characters. I remember giving two of them away a few years later - AND I NEVER GAVE AWAY ANY TOY!

The Ghost Buggy might still be in my parents' attic, along with the purple safari guy (whose name I forgot a long time ago), and other Filmation artefacts like Marshall BraveStarr and some of the Masters Of The Universe and Catle Grayskull. Filmation's Ghost Busters to me always seemed more like a Scooby-Doo rip-off than having anything to do with The Real Ghostbusters.
